Ask yourself:
Does a toy poodle eating the popular dry food listed above need the same amounts of vitamins and preservatives as a great dane eating the same food?  Of course not!

Does my dog need all those ingredients?  Of course not!

There are never any additives or preservatives added to Oma's Pride because no dog needs that!

Feeding Guidelines
Feeding a whole food diet can be as easy or as complicated as you want to make it. Oma's Pride has created mixes where they have put the vegetables and bone right in with the protein and it is ready to feeding after thawing out.

Below are average feeding amounts for various size dogs.  This is not set in stone and can fluctuate, in fact the guideline, 2% of your dogs body weight, is how many ounces you will feed per day.  This amount can change quite a bit depending on age, activity level, and whether you dog needs to gain weight or lose weight at the time of starting a whole food diet.  This is meant to be a guide only.

YES! Feeding a whole food diet is going to be a little bit more expensive, but if you couple this with not having to pay a vet for one verterinary dental cleaning you are paying roughly the same price for food per year. According to VPI pet insurance, the average cost of a canine dental procedure is $300.  Wouldn't that money would be better spent on a better more healthy, natural diet!
